ABOUT CORK CIVIC TRUST
Founded in 1990, Cork Civic Trust is a not for profit registered charity, whose objectives include the promotion of civic awareness and the recognition of civic service to society through appropriate awards and actions. Cork Civic Trust is a voluntary body established for purposes which are beneficial to the Community and to the public generally in a not for profit way. Past projects and activities include

To engage with citizens, businesses, organisations and public bodies in Cork city and county so as to initiate and assist worthwhile projects across the civic, heritage, cultural, educational and community sectors.
To become publicly recognised as a body that delivers support to worthwhile civic related projects and assists businesses to implement active corporate social responsibility programs.
To engage with the Business, Corporate, Municipal, Diaspora and Community Sectors for the betterment and benefit of Cork.
